2023 SCHULICH LEADERS
Students at Queen's University receive Canada's largest Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) scholarship

Ten Queen's University students have been named recipients of the prestigious Schulich Leader Scholarship.  

Out of a pool of 350,000 potential candidates across Canada, more than 1,400 students were nominated, of which 100 received this celebrated award. This year's 10 Queen's Schulich Leaders are:

  • Keegan Amos is a recipient of the $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of St. Paul Catholic Secondary School in Trenton, Ont., Amos will be entering the Arts & Science program this fall.  
  • Torrin Bigrigg is a recipient of the $120,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of St. John's College in Brantford, Ont., Bigrigg will be entering the Engineering program this fall.  
  • Qwin Goodwin is a recipient of the $120,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of North Hastings High School in Bancroft, Ont., Goodwin will be entering the Engineering program this fall.  
  • Ishaan Grewal is a recipient of the $120,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of Crescent Heights High School in Calgary, Alb., Grewal will be entering the Engineering program this fall. 
  • Raymond Guo is a recipient of the $120,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of Bear Creek Secondary School in Barrie, Ont., Guo will be entering the Engineering program this fall.  
  • Oliver Lynn is a recipient of the $120,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. The Kingston, Ont., student is a graduate of Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ont., Lynn will be entering the Engineering program this fall.  
  • Leila Salem is a recipient of the $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of Westminster Secondary School in London, Ont., Salem will be entering the Arts & Science program this fall.   
  • Elliott Vince is a recipient of the $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of Ursuline College Chatham in Chatham, Ont., Vince will be entering the Arts & Science program this fall.  
  • Sarena Sandhu is a recipient of the $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. The Kingston, Ont., student is a graduate of Albert College in Belleville, Ont., Sandhu will be entering the Arts & Science this fall.   
  • Paul Wu is a recipient of the $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship. A graduate of Nanaimo Secondary School in Nanaimo, B.C., Wu will be entering the Arts & Science this fall.
